Yes and no. I enjoy it at the time but after working in house keeping I freak out and go on a cleaning frenzy before I leave

I am staying at the sofitel on friday night and cant wait. I have stayed at a resort once before for 1 night and loved it. I cant wait to see what its like being in a nice hotel, watching the city happenings on a friday night, getting room service and just relaxing watching foxtel in a king size bed.

It really depends on the hotel, I'm a bit persnickety when I travel. My favourite holidays have been when we've rented a beach house because I like the privacy and the freedom to have guests if we choose.
But I do like hotels if they have room service, good dining options and 24hr front desk. If they don't I prefer a serviced apartment style. I also really like b&b style cottages up in the mountains but they generally don't cater for little ones.. Sigh.

My DH and I always take our own pillows anywhere we go to stay, we just can't get comfortable on other pillows

I am a bit of a hotel snob lol. I am fine if I am in a nice fancy hotel that is all in a building and secure but hate stay in cheap open ones that probably has more to do with my own personal fears though

I get so frustrated living out of a bag!!! Everything just gets messy and I lose things! Plus I hate not sleeping in my own bed.....it's just not the same

Not really the mattress and pillow gross me out a little. What a great idea bringing your own pillows!!!

    Love room service though

Yes I love staying in hotels - we only stay in 4-5 star ones though and we always have had the kids with us. Sleeping in a king size is actually much more comfortable than our queen size with DD in it as well.
