Default Why is it called hedgehog slice?

Please help us solve a question for my 4 year old, and please don't say because it looks like a hedgehog. It doesn't. And please make it something G rated.

    Thanks!

Thanks, but it really doesn't, it has 100's and 1000's on it. Please please please just make something up that's feasible! She made me google hedgehogs so now she knows what they look like. "American echidnas" she said. In a full American accent. God help me.

I *think* it's more to do with the colour (light and dark contrasts) being compared to the contrasts in a hedgehog's bristles rather than the texture of the bristles, IYKWIM??

    Me either.

I thought it was because it has coconut on top and the coconut looks like the hedgehog spines.

I cannot believe i just did this.... but I googled hedge hog slice (images) and they had all these pics of different slices and then a little baby hedge-hog in the middle of it all. The slice (colour contrast wise) really does look like the cute little baby hedge-hog.

Ok - I really need to find something to do.....
