12.5 months between my 2 boys. We wanted them close but having them this close was a shock. It took a year to conceive DS1 and then DS2 was a surprise very shortly after even though we weren't trying to conceive yet, just not preventing.

The boys adore each other and now that they are both walking and babbling it's great to see them together. It is very tough though when they both get upset or both want to be held and I've only got the one set of arms. I guess that can happen with any age gap though.

I have 6 years between my 1st and 2nd and then 22 months between my 2nd and 3rd.Both gaps have their pros and cons but the first few months were hard with the 22 month gap. .but now it's fabulous!

I have what would be considered a big gap!

    DD1 born 1993, next DS born 2005 (11.5 years apart), next DD2 born 2009 (16 years between DD's 1 and 2, and 4 years between DS and DD2!)
