    When's test day?

Argh. This week has dragged on! We have the funeral on Monday.
DH and I were thinking of using his name as bubs name as I would of fallen pregnant pretty much the same day he died (assuming I'm UTD) We would need to ask his parents of course if they are ok with it.

That is beautiful. It's much more personal that way. DD is named after my mother in law who passed away a month after DH and I were married. I love it because she'll never get to meat her grandma but she'll always a small piece of her.

Hi all. My FH and I were going to wait until we were married before having kids but, as we've had to put the wedding off for at least a year, we've decided to start TTC now.
I have a 7yr old son but he was definitely not expected so this whole planning and actually trying thing is very new to me! Do you have to go to your doctor before you start trying? Also, is there a cheaper alternative to Elevit? The cheapest I've found is $60-$70 for 100 which is WAY out of our budget!

Welcome!!! I know how you feel. Although both my boys where planned we sort of just went with it rather than testing for O etc you become slightly obsessed with your body this way lol.

Yes go to your dr and get all the necessary testing done just tell them you are TTC and they will help you out. I only had DS2 9 months ago so I've already had the normal blood tests and paps this year.

In regards to elevit. Try just taking folic acid, it's really the most important. That's the only thing I've taken during both my pregnancies (I can't take iron so all multi-vs are out for me) might be cheaper for you.

Otherwise black mores do a preg vitamin and so does natures own. You could even just take a women's standard multi v with folic acid alongside ??

    So did I :/
I got a very faint second line BUT I'm thinking its false because it was to close to the end of the strip and although its a line it looks like it might of leached out from the end....if that makes sense.

I've banned myself from testing until next sat. I went to the shops today and almost bought a 3 pack of the first response ones but then I was like "no you've got your digi for next week if you buy these you will just waste them"

So much for our pact, we are all so hopeless lol
