    I was talking Preg testing

I don't get all this ANK PFB SFG LJK LMNOP QRS TUV talk lol
Was talking about O tests in reply to Azimuth, sorry, should have made it clearer

FYI to help decode the boards a bit -

HPT is pregnancy test (Home Pregnancy Test)

The main ones we seem to use:
    AF - aunt flo (period)
    O - ovulation
BFP/BFN Big fat positive/Big fat negative (on HPT)
BD - Baby Dance (to shag)
    CM - cervical mucus
EWCM - Egg White CM (the consistency of it when you are about to/are ovulating)

Here's a list for you of all of them:

    http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...-Abbreviations

    HTH a bit

I have 10 dippers that came with the ovulation tests (from ebay, so just cheapies) then a packet of 3 FRERs and a treat of a double pack of digi ones as they were on super special offer, and once I know for certain its a BFP I can do one just for happiness sake (and to maybe show my parents lol )

A bit excessive, but I have mad POAS itus, the dippers came today, and as the tinge has cleared up I thought there wouldn't be any harm in trying one out - BFN - STUPID BOXCAT!!! lol

Haha gotta take ur own medicine girlie!!! Still time tho so don't stress :-) when are u actually due for AF box?

By 15x are just IC (Internet Cheapies) too. They were like a couple bucks, so why not aye! They haven't arrived in the post yet tho!!!!!!!
I have a digi not for testing but just so I can see the word after I already have my confirmed bfp LOL!
I got a 3x frer but 2 down already oops, so saving that last one for Sunday testing.

I never knew what BD stood for!!! I knew what it MEANT... I can usually get the idea of most acronyms just seeing them in context of the sentence they're used in lol. So I knew it was to DTD (do the deed, for our n00bs lol) but naaaaw BABY DANCE that is too cute!!!!

Another one that took me a while to get was cd = cycle date.

You should try going into an ivf forum. I get lost off the first post lol. They have SO MANY acronyms 8-/

I know - I'm pants lol according to my P. Tracker, its not due until the 10th, but that's probably because I had a long cycle last month, so its probably a few days before that if you look at how I cycle. SOOOOOO far away though lol (but if it is the 10th, then the tinging I've just had is a SUPER GOOD SIGN )

See it just weirds me out a bit - it reminds me too much of Ally McBeal (don't know if you are too young for that one lol) and the famous weird dancing baby.....

Which only really works if you know your blooming cycle I guess though - for eg, which actually is Day 1 if you get some spotting? grrrr....lol

Hahha DH just told me I should go stock up on OPKs too!

The ones I have are part of a First Response kit, I know FR pregnancy tests are pretty good, but don't know much about OPK's. Do I need a certain brand? Where do you guys buy them?

I just got some from Ebay, just went with the cheapest lol - there seem to be 3 big sellers, think mine were from NSW, they only took 3 days to get here I think so not too bad. Don't know if they work or not - the FRER Ovulation test sticks didn't find an O for me, so not really the best person to say if they work or not, but the Ebay dippy HPT (came with the OPKs) didn't half suck up my wee quick and return a pretty fast result (BFN if you're excited by that lol)

For $10 for 50 OPKs and 10 HPTs I didn't really think it was too much of a gamble though

I have the same problem with FRER OPK's...couldn't find an O! So this month we forgetting about OPK's and are just going to DTD (BD reminds me of the dancing baby too! ;-) every second day from CD 10-20 ;-)
