Default Can you get croup in spring/summer?

Oh man, I think my 23mth old is getting his 5th bout of croup for the year.

Last night he sounded a bit husky whilst asleep and didn't sleep well, and he just has a bit of a cry and I swear it's very stridor-y

Is it possible to get croup in warmer weather?

I have the redipred ready but man, I feel so bad for him

Yes, definitely. My ds's worst 2 episodes of Croup have been in early February. It's just what happens at the back of the throat when children get a virus and they are susceptible to getting Croup (so other children with the same virus don't necessarily get Croup). Cold viruses are around all year.

Thanks fir the reply. I kind of figured that, considering it's viral but I was hoping I'd be wrong.

Nuts. Sleepless nights ahead. Poor fella.
