    Update:

Spoke to the midwives, they are giving us a bright orange sign to stick on our CLOSED door that says 'Ask at nurses station before entering this room' and then when people ask their answer will be 'no'. Lol. We agreed and put on my file that no staff member is to give out any info on us whatsoever, we will text people allowed to visit so there is no need for them to give any info on us to anyone.

They said if anyone just walks in past closed door and curtain to immediately buzz them and they'll remove them.

Feel better, but still hope they don't just walk in past the closed door and curtain. Hopefully our vagueness about when I'm due etc will mean we avoid that...

    Thanks for all your suggestions!!!

    Hi rach85.

I'm from Nowra and expecting a c section in February and was also hoping to have a sign put on my door to say DO NOT ENTER, as last time I had so many visitors and I was exhausted. I will only text people who matter to come for a visit, as people last time only wanted a sticky beak and then couldn't give a crap afterwards. Plus I have family drama at the moment.

Yep- just ask the midwives for the sign She said (jokingly) most of the rooms have it on the back of the door at the moment because it is a really common request!! And to use it like a hotel do not disturb sign! Lol. And discuss with them that you want no visitors or give them a banned visitors list. Remind them though because admins don't routinely check your file.

At least with a cs you can just not tell anyone the date you are having it??? Except those looking after your other child? And swear them to secrecy!

Just thought I'd let you know, they will not remove visitors if you want them there.
Nurses (I am one), are happy to be the bad guys and evict unwanted people. We will call on security to escort off the premises if necessary.
