Just the current unpacking sucks big time
So you just did Bali on your own with 2 under 2?
What did you get up to with the kids?

I know how you feel, DH and I didn't even make our honeymoon, and we haven't had a holiday since kids - so that is 7 years.

    Oh no!

I have to say, DH mentioned camping - but seriously camping with 4 kids - how on earth is that relaxing? So I put my foot down and we are renting a house!

I'm going to Bora Bora in Tahiti to stay in one of those over water villas. I'm going to wake in the morning to my beautiful ocean view and dive off my balcony into the lovely warm water.

Oh, this is only in my dreams of course!!!!!!!

Do you mind if if ask why not? Family holidays are such an important part of our life (and we have cheap ones). It's fair enough if you don't want them but from your post I take it you'd like one?

We're heading down to the forest in south east Western Australia at the end of January as after 5 weeks at home with 4 kids I'll need a holiday. I found this place that sounds like something out of the 60s. There's a restaurant and kids eat free breakfast and dinner (before 530 ) and they have all these organised activities during the day. The kids can go canoeing, fishing, do archery, heaps of stuff they want to try but I don't want to have to organise only to have them pull out a week later. DH will be in charge of camp activities while I (hopefully) get to chill with the baby.

We're planning an o/s holiday with all 4 next year, possibly to Cambodia.
