I got the faintest of lines at 10dpo. But I didn't truly believe it till after 12dpo. As much as I was impatient.. It would prob have been better to wait those few extra days. A faint line didn't really offer much hope.. More paranoia over if I was seeing things or it really was there and viable etc.

From everything I've read (and I've been doing a lot of googling!) 12dpo is your best bet.
I'm 7dpo today and although me and dp are not actively trying (just not preventing) I've found myself obsessing and getting really impatient.
Can't wait for 12dpo to test (or AF) it's the not knowing that kills me.
Not to mention my crazy symptom spotting... All of a sudden every ache, twitch, emotion etc is an early pregnancy symptom... I think I might need to be put in a straight jacket :-\
How are u coping with the tww?

    I know, I can't help it...

I got a line at 9dpo with this bub. I actually had faint lines from 7dpo.

This is my 12dpo test. I didn't test any earlier but based on how dark it is I'm going to assume I probably would have got a positive earlier. Everyone is different though, some people don't get their positive till well after a missed period.

9dpo extremely faint but you could see it was there - currently 6.5 weeks pregnant with the babe that created that very faint positive.

(I tested with a First Response around mid day at 9dpo)
