Default Show Off your kids Playroom

Our playroom is our theatre room in our house until the kids are older. I am wanting to organise it & change it around again but stuck for ideas.

What kind of stuff do you have in there playroom? In my kids play room they have lots of books a quite corner for reading my dd lives there pretty much in another corner car tracks, pencils colouring and playdoh I allow them to use when im in there just incase of lil accidents umm table and chairs , removeable stickers that they put on themselves cushions with there own lounge and tv. I find going to ikea or looking in junk mail gives me heaps of ideas. I hope this helps oh and lots of toys lol

They did have a reading corner but DD was wreaking the books so I took it out.
It has a play kitchen, table & chairs in the play kitchen area.
Tv on the wall & a cube shelf under it with nothing in it really just there to protect the cords.

2 x Ikea trofast & a book shelve with DDs baby toys on it & a kids fold out couch.

I CAN'T. It's hiding under the pile of laundry to be folded.

We have Expedit shelves from ikea , one is the large unit with half used as book shelves and the other half is boxes ( it's the one divided into cube spaces) and on the other side of the room is a slightly smaller Expedit shelving unit with space for a big screen tv and we have the storage boxes underneath. I like these units as there is a good range of colours in the boxes/ crates that go into the shelves , we mixed up the colours and have fabric, wicker and plastic storage crates. Then there is a kids table also in white ( same as the shelves) with diff coloured chairs and that sits on a rug on one side of the room , on the other side in front of the tv unit there is a lounge and another rug. And 3 ikea Lomsk kids chairs the ones that are egg shaped and spin around and a large doll house.

Could you paint one of the walls with blackboard paint and let them loose with some chalk? You can get blackboard paint in amazingly vibrant colours these days, no longer just black or dark green. Or, hanging some netting from the ceiling and dangling items/toys etc from it?

Ours is a bit all over the place, I want to replace the expedit with more trofast or stuva from Ikea.
