    That sentence doesn't make sense.
Are you saying that people do not have a right to 'speak with hate'? If that were the case, then this thread would be shut down as it has been dedicated to hate speak about Abbott.
I don't believe Abbott is a racial group.

This thread is an excellent example of free speech. Here we are debating politics without anyone making threats toward the subject (other than voting his @rse out come next election ) or each other.

Why do you want people to have the right to racially vilify others?

So you can say whatever you like about him regardless of how much it may offend or humiliate him?

Yes, providing you can substantiate it and it does not breech laws governing discrimination.

To be offended is not a reason to stop discourse.

The judge's summary of the case says the court has "not been satisfied that the offensive conduct that I have found occurred, is exempted from unlawfulness by section 18D. The reasons for that conclusion have to do with the manner in which the articles were written, including that they contained errors of fact, distortions of the truth and inflammatory and provocative language." I agree with Steven Fry's comment.

Is hate speech ok if it discriminates against women or gays? Is there a law for that?

According to the definition that you provided, I would not want people to have that right. Are you saying that Bolt was 'abusively disparaging'? Can you give an example of comment of his that deserves that description?

    Manner?

Errors of fact is relevant to defamation. Do you know what the errors were? Do you have examples of inflammatory/provocative language that he used?
