Well he did say he wouldn't introduce a new tax, but wants to charge $6 for people to see a doctor.

He's a knob that's out of touch with everyday Australians. Where I live it's almost impossible to get a bulk billing doctor for adults. I'm already $80 out of pocket every time I go to the GP.

    Yep.
Our economy is going to be destroyed with the introduction of this 'tax'.

Well, this should make things more equitable for you then, as your costs will remain the same, but those that are getting a free service will pay a small fee.

The Australian Centre for Health Research has made a submission to the Federal Government's Commission of Audit proposing a $6 fee for bulk-billed GP visits to keep the Medicare system going.

And let me get this right: Abbott is a 'knob' because Terry Barnes has raised a suggestion Like I've said: It's always Abbott's fault.

I predict another 11 years of complaining about the current conservative government, followed by a few years of rigid defence of the next incompetent Labor/Green alliance. That should get us to about 2029.

Another account of asylum seekers who can do no wrong.

A PAPUA New Guinea MP claims asylum seekers made threats to rape the mothers and sisters of local Manus Island detention centre guards in the lead-up to Monday's deadly riots. Manus MP Ron Knight alleges G4S guards were subjected to foul language and abuse from asylum seekers.
"They made sexual (comments), saying they were going to get out and rape their mothers and their sisters," he told AAP.
"It started with them - they got nasty and they broke down the gate."

But it came from the Daily Telegraph, so Murdoch must have paid Ron Knight some money for him to make up the story I guess. Nope, much better to stick with the random phone calls to random people in Australia with no accountability.

    Absolutely disgusting!

Since when has anyone said that a $6 payment on bulk billing doctors will destroy the economy? This may not mean much to you or I. But there are some kids/families out their with chronic illness (my family included). Who are at the doctor all the time, if you are low socio economic with a sick child, that really adds up.

But I guess LNP supports don't actually care about low income earners, refugees, the environment, local jobs...wow, the list really goes on doesn't it. How shameful. I'd be embarrassed to be a lib at this point.

PLUS - Abbott when on and on and on and on about the backflip on the Carbon tax. And he has backflipped on pretty much ever single thing he ever promised.

Hilarious how you just believe that comment with no evidence or questions. And you say you aren't against refugees and that really you just care that they don't drown on the way over. Yeah right father. Pull the other one.

Or those with chronic illness. I better not leave that one off the list, it really shows just how cold hearted and un empathetic they are.
