Abbott is a hypocrite, he voted in full confidence in parliament for man made climate change. What is worse than a climate change denier who doesn't agree with science unless it suits their own agenda? Someone who believes in it, but chooses to ignore it to gain votes.

Its a pity no one can agree on the one true word. I wonder if Jebus mentioned climate change if Tony would be worried . Then again I think there was some stuff about being kind and giving to the poor. Tony has missed a lot of memos.

We have a minister for sport, but not one for science.

What an absolute disgrace. I'm speechless.

    I had been thinking about starting a thread about this topic, but my first post would have looked something like: **** **** **** **** ************ **** ******** ****** **** ****** ************ **** **** ******** ******** ****, so I probably would have been banned from bubhub.

    So according to http://minister.innovation.gov.au/Pages/default.aspx

The minister for science was actually known as the minister for: Innovation, Industry, Science and research

So it seems they've basically taken science out of the title, but the responsibility seems to remain the same?

Why does sport need to be a cabinet position? Genuine question.

It's not a separate cabinet position. Peter Dutton is the Health Minister. He also has the sport portfolio. Are you worried that sport won't get much attention from the Health Minister?
