We don't even need to put forward our thoughts on the subject, as @Busy-Bee has pointed out, he proves his sexism all by himself.

I find it incredibly hard to believe the LNP simply 'couldn't find' any women to fill the roles. That is 1/3 of the women in cabinet in Afghanistan. As I mentioned in another thread, I do not feel represented in Australian politics.

I agree that not everything needs to be analysed according to gender. But, in this context, I tend to think of that saying, 'when you hear hoofbeats, think horses not zebras'.

Speaking of driving me wild, I really resent when women refer to 'Feminists' as if in a derogatory way. We have a lot to thank 'Feminists' for. And now I feel like a Tim Tam. Thanks a lot, Sonja 😃

Hey! Let's not forget good old Bronny Bishop taking the speakers role... That's two. Both called "Bishop" - a position women are forbidden to hold. Coincidence? Hmmm...

As for feminist complaints - I for one would love to stop talking about feminism. But how can we stop? When there are ignorant people saying things like the above???
I have never seen this. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I have never seen it... So can it really be that common?

How do you know though? Do you know the salary of everyone you work with? All your friends and family? Chances are they might not even know themselves - salary is generally something people keep confidential, which is why it happens so much. If you KNEW you weren't given the same payrise as your (equal) male colleague, you'd say something. Unfortunately you don't know... until you start looking for other jobs and talking to recruiters and find out your salary is well below market rate for your position. This happened to me.
