I had to laugh at this. My baby is due on Christmas day. So this statement is even more true for me, I do have a big Cristmas present that I'll likely have to wait until after xmas to open

Yes! I went into hospital at 35+4 - they sent me away saying it wasn't I kept saying I'm pretty sure it is - ended up having DD two days later, when I went that time was in full blown labour (9cm!!!)

I wasn't sure (although it was ridiculously painful, and at 41 weeks, it probably couldnt have been anythjng else) until I got to hospital and they told me I was 9cm dilated.
All the pain was in my front, no back pain at all, and for some reason the midwife I kept calling kept telling me as there was no back pain it couldn't be labour and to have a Panadol and go to sleep. Hmm.

Rang the hospital & the don't want me to come in until at least 1 min apart & 3 in 10 mins. This could be a long night as they are all over the place but have definitely got more intense this afternoon

Good luck! Hope your bubba makes an appearance soon

I honestly didn't realise. I had very mild period like cramping but was bearable enough to still hang out a load of washing & sweeping the floors

We went in to check out what was going on (i was 39+5) expecting to be given some panadeine & sent home to rest up. Instead imagine my shock to be told I was 7cm. I had this idea that it was unbearable pain with screaming the paint off walls from the get-go. Next baby I will know better!

Been admitted to hospital now. Waters broke an hour ago. Contractions got a lot stronger so they said to come in & waters broke when we arrived. Just waiting on some pain relief & sleeping tablet so I can get some rest. Contractions are a lot more intense now.
