Can I just add... I have had 4 people this week tell me they are pregnant! 4!! Dont you sometimes feel like its being thrown in your face? In so happy for each and every couple but a piece of me hurts too!
pichka - it must be so disappointing. Let's hope the specialist has got a plan for the next steps but you have to feel really confident in what path they're taking so no harm in looking around if you need to.
sarahjayneb - why does this TTC thing have to be so damn hard?! Have you got an appointment to see the FS to discuss what you want to do next?
anony - it's so hard not to become a little bitter and twisted about it!! I just keep thinking that one day it will be my time but it's so much easier said than done!
@anony I copped a few symptoms. A bit of dizziness, definitely very emotional, some hot flushes and a bit of insomnia (it's very rare that I don't sleep 8-10 hours solid every night)
I'm not entirely sure when I ovulated last cycle.. but when I think I did, I had some definite sharp and then dull stretching pains in that area. So you never know, it could be that you are ovulating? Are you having a CD21 BT?
I don't know what the protocol is like and whether my comment is rude or imposing on an already well established thread with regular people, but thought I would give a comment and ask a question (maybe in the end a few) and see.
If this is a some what private group, please let me know and I will move on
My DH and I have been TTC #1 for about 12 months, but as I suffer from PCOS there has been no outcome of a pregnancy. So I tried metaformin for a month and with still no period, put on clomid. I took my first tablet today as I am D2 into my cycle. I am on the lesser of clomid to see if that works, with a blood text D21 to see if I have ovulated and then go from there.
Just wondering how you guys were on clomid and if you had many side effects?
Also, and I know really I shouldn't as I am TTC but did you guys enjoy a glass or 2 of alcohol while you were on it? (no big nights planned but do like a glass of something after a long day or while socialising). I read the instructions in the packet and I couldn't read anywhere anything about it.
Am hoping to use these threads to ask questions, and eventually share some insight after taking clomid to others. Am hoping, as does everyone else of course, that I won't need to take it for long
It seems to be everyone around me is getting pregnant, I am the last of my friends to, with them all appearing to get pregnant first time, or by mistake, so these forums are great to talk to people who are going or have gone through the same thing as me, as of course my friends have no idea what it feels like
