Normally I have to have an internal ultrasound due to my retroverted uterus. Do you think having an internal ultrasound on this day will effect the possibility of falling pregnant this cycle ? So I guess I may have a recently released egg and hopefully newly deposited sperm in there too? What do u think ? Will it have no effect as the probe is just in the vagina ? Feeling like a ditz
It shouldn't be a problem as early u/s with a retroverted uterus are also internal.

Hi Ladies, I'm new to this site and new to the whole assisted fertility thing. I've recently just finished Primolut to help AF and on day 4 after my round of those tablets AF appeared (very excited to see her). On Sunday I'm going to start my 1st round of Clomid and I'm very nervous. I've been reading a lot and so many of you ladies have had bad side affects. Is it really that bad?
Wishing you all the very best on your quest to get the BFP

Hi Sanj82! It's such an exciting time. I didn't have very bad side effects on Clomid, I've had 2 cycles on 50mg & 1 on 100mg. I did have some headaches but not really enough to blame the Clomid, maybe I just had a headache anyway? Either way, best of luck!!!

So sorry to hear I'm not holding out much hope AF just arrived again onto my sixth clomid cycle tomorrow (I think) im loosing count.

To add insult to injury just found out my brother and SIL are pregnant they claim they weren't trying didn't want kids etc etc....

Not in a very happy place right now.

But onwards and upwards we go - I'm thinking of trying acupuncture and hubby and I are considering IVF too there are still options out there. Recently found out about low cost IVF too so that is something to consider as well.

I'm so sorry Twinkley It's not fair. I'm the type that has to find meaning in everything, an explanation. I just can't understand why as good parents that adore our kids that the universe sees fit to not given us another, when everywhere I look, people that don't deserve kids keep breeding. I know, it's a rather glib and mean view. But it's the truth.

8DPO today, last cycle of clomid, and I refuse to test before I'm due in a week. I know I say that every month lol but I really won't this time I've been pretty crampy today but unsure if it's just a tummy upset. Certainly not getting my hopes up, been there, done that, and my heart is ripped out when AF arrives.

Geez this post is so negative lol
