Didn't Jamie and Jools Oliver name their son 'Buddy Bear'?

Op, If you were going to use it, I wouldn't have John as the middle name as it doesn't flow/go well together I don't think.

Our boy was called Buddy the whole pregnancy and people asked if we were really calling him that.... We said no..,. But we actually were still deciding on the day he was born.... He was soooo close to being called that. In the end my hubby named him coz he met him hours before I did...we called him Brody.... It meant second son /brother and a meaning for buddy was brother.

Don't think I could take an adult "Buddy" seriously.
I love the name Buster. It has a vintage-y, prohibition era feel - like
Buster Keaton, the silent film actor. I had it on my list for DS2 but unfortunately it's street slang for pimp or something like that which turned me right off.

Buddy though, hmmm... I kind of like it but it's a bit "little boy", I can't imagine it on a man.

I actually know someone called buddy so I guess its easier for me to imagine it as an adults name. Hmm I don't think we will use it BUT not going to completely write it off until we see him
