I've not seen anyone go through so much early on. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a miracle for you, or at the very least answers so you can continue with life.

Yes now your level is over 1000 they should be able to see a sac at minimum. I hope it's there in your uterus and ectopic can be ruled out!

It's the general rule of thumb that below 1000 you may.not see anything. Hence a lot of docs won't want to do an ultrasound when levels are below 1000 (in a preg otherwise progressing normally). Levels vary so much from pregnancy to pregnancy though.

Well bleeding stopped and still having cramping.
Was sent for ultrasound - nothing showed again other than the cyst on my left ovary has gotten bigger.

I am well aware my dates could be out but this is now week 5 of bloods and ultrasounds and nothing is showing.

I am seeking an opinion from my gyny who looks after my pcos (he was an ob until the end of last year but the local hospy changed the rules so he can't deliver babies at the hospy now).

They are talking d&c - I would sooner my gyny does it than the hospital. Hence I'm here.

Are you going thru the same u/s place each time? I would go somewhere else. Your story is exactly how my ectopic happened. Bleeding, HCG that was rising but not doubling. A dull ache in my left side. Luckily I caught it days before rupture.

The fact your HcG is rising says you have not m/c and there should be something showing in your uterus with those levels. Please get a 2nd opinion with an u/s

Yeah my ob/fs dosnt go by hcg unless not rising enough or if its going down then he knows something is wrong. He dose ultrasounds really early on me being high risk and make sure and the sac is in the uterus ect and now a medical journal study ill get monitored very closely.

Something similar happened to me earlier this year. I had an ectopic pregnancy and it resulted in a salpingectomy (removal of my right tube) and the contained pregnancy and tissues at 8 weeks.

My hcg levels were not doubling but still going up. I had bleeding/ on and off spotting and felt weak and dizzy. Then the pain started. I had a corpus luteum cyst on my left side and baby was in right tube. Nothing was seen on ultrasound until the day I was taken into theatre!

If it is an ectopic in your case, a d&c will not rectify the issue. It's a pregnancy of unknown location. They will probably want an exploratory laparoscopy procedure to give a better picture of where the pregnancy is!

Please pm if you would like more info.

Yep this is true. I was very lucky that an internal u/s showed the baby in my tube (they can't actually see it, but the tube becomes quite distended.). But I had mine at about 9 weeks pg.

I would keep getting bloods OP. I know it sucks, I think I had 12 blood tests in 3 weeks. But push for another u/s, a lap or further testing. If it is ectopic, you can save your tube. I just fit in the parameters of getting methotrexate, an injection used in chemo and kept my tube.

I agree if they cant see anything its etopic and a d&c isnt going to do anything. They will give you an injection if they can get to it in time which dissolves the pregnancy or do surgery. Thats what happend to my ls recently with her etopic the last one she nearly died bec5her stupid specialist said she was an idiot and didn't know anything and had her dates wrong,I refused to look if it was etopic which nearly resulted in her death in july. Shes most likely going to sue him. I would get a second opinion as this is serious. I hope you get your answer soon.
