I believe that not being able to see something on ultrasound might be a blessing in disguise though...
My numbers are rising, just not as expected but until they can see where this sits on ultrasound I am not willing to give up.

I have one more blood test scheduled for Friday. If the results of that show another rise, I am going to request they stop with the tests and we wait 3 more weeks before doing another ultrasound and blood test. I think that's my plan anyway. .. Bit disheartened ATM...

I know with.my experience the not knowing was horrible. I believe my bubbling was just growing very slowly, the doctor thought that in itself could be an indicator of a problem with the baby. I did find quite a few happy ending stories of babies which started slow then growth picked up and eventually caught up. Here's hoping you've just got a slow starter in there!

They are still rising - far from doubling. My internal revealed my cervix is closed and no more bleeding is evident...

I require follow up bloods Wednesday and Friday.

I am now cramping, rang hospital who confirmed this is normal after internal...and to rest...

They have a theory that I had a twin pregnancy and one viable pregnancy remains and I lost a twin. It is still too early to show anything on ultrasound and what they suspect is in theory only...
I had the same problem like you. I ended up needing a dnc because It was a blighted ovum. Your body dosnt realize you are pregnant because the placenta is still producing HCG. I really hope its not etopic as my sister inlaw nearly died 2 months ago due to her stupid specialist not checking even though she had all the signs. It sounds like a blighted ovum or etopic to me but I hope everything turns out good for you.

It isnt too early to see anything on a scan levels were in the 400s and we saw a sac and fetal pole but I was told it was a blighted ovum or missed miscarriage,if it was a twin pregnancy your body would obsorb the twin because thats what happened with me as a pregnancy.

Stretched is right! Mine was slow off the mark but now it's a chubmonster that is measuring in two weeks bigger than he/she should.
Yours could just be like mine

I'm hopeful that its a slow starter.
With DD I didn't even find out for about another 2 weeks that I was pregnant - so have no idea if her hcg levels did the same or not.

Another blood test in an hour results mid morning.
If they have risen again I'm going to ask that they stop testing every 2 days - it's too much and is effecting my life. Maybe ask them to order another ultrasound for two weeks time and go from there. I need a break from all these tests. My body needs it too.
