    Thanks everyone. I might wait the 8 days after expected delivery (like they recommended) and then request a refund. Ds really wanted this particular item for his past birthday, now I have to look elsewhere for it.

    Just hopeless - I bought DS one of those ride on roller coaster things as they had it the cheapest but it took 3 months to get it as they said it had to come by boat from the USA!

    I'm pretty sure they have items drop shipped, so the likely issue is a supplier overseas taking their time. I've ordered twice through them - once it was refunded after aaaaages because the supplier didn't have it in stock and the second it was delayed and by the time I received it I'd almost forgotten about my order entirely.

    I used them once and it took ages plus they sent me one of the books twice. I gave it to my sister and figured it made up for the ridiculous wait time.

    The other thing with them is the order usually takes forever to dispatch. I ordered 4 books on 12 August and they were only dispatched on 2 September. The window for delivery is 8 to 25 September then wait another 8 days. Very annoying.

    I quite often order books through fishpond. They always give a delivery date, and I have never been disappointed.
