I have a black car and I LOVE it seriously I think black cars are 100 times more awesome then any other colour but i'm not sure why. It does look dirty a lot of the time but that's because I drive on dirt roads and don't wash it as often as I should. I don't find it any hotter then the green car I used to have. I would just get it and not worry about the colour

Same, I love black. My younger sister just bought a white SUV and doesn't even have kids. I bagged her out heaps and was calling her mother Theresa. My younger sisters and I could not be any more different.

Id love a black car. They look so cool. But there is no way I could have one with my kids. We've got dark blue and thats bad enough. Our new car is white for just this reason.

Why do you say this? Because of scratches?

DP's car is black and mine is blue. I can't tell any difference dirt or scratch-wise between the two. The black one is schmexy.

I have a black car and I love it. I think it looks so much nicer than the other colours out there.

I've got a black car and its great, very smart looking. I'm a bit obsessive so it gets washed pretty regularly though.

I wouldn't choose black. Not only because of the scratches dirt etc but the fact that they're so hard to see on the road for safety. They blend in too well especially at dusk and without headlights on. I personally think they should stop making dark colored cars.

Silly question - but if the colour bothers you so much, could you consider gettig it painted? (I know that'ld probably cost a couple of grand, but might be worth consideration if you can negotiate a cheaper price to offset it.)
