    Default Thermomix for baby food

Can you justify buy thermomix just to cook for bub? Is it good machine to make baby food?

My babies will start solid soon so DH said he gonna buy me one but I'm not sure if I will love it. .
I mostly cook Asian foods at home and probable once a week that cook western food. Will I get that much use from thermomix?

Between using just a normal blender and steamer to make your own baby food and using a thermomix which one is better?

Baby food was one of the main reasons I decided to buy one. I homemade all of ds baby food and it was a mission but having a thermie will make it so much easier with this bub. I think it's just a commitment thing.

just feed bub what you eat, you don't need to mush it all up.

I love my thermo! Haven't used it for baby food yet as DS is only 8 weeks, but they have just released a new 'Cooking for your baby and toddler' cookbook which I got as a baby shower present. It has great kid recipes.

I think you need to want a thermo anyway though, don't just get one for baby food.

I wouldn't get one if it was only for baby food. However, there are many more things you can use it for. I hardly ever cook whole meals with it but I use it to make vegetable stock, curry pastes, dips, icing sugar, castor sugar, grind my own spices, whip cream in seconds, mince meat (especially for wonton fillings), etc.

I also find it easy to do baking stuff with it. I used to be an awful baker until I got one.

I wouldn't say no to one! Once you get one you will use it for many many things!
