Amfm a lot of it depends on the babies as well, some babies are not good sleepers full stop, only a small few sleep through the night from a young age so I'm afraid sleepless nights go with the territory And sleep issues go hand in hand for a lot of children, but I make as little fuss over them during the night as possible, which means no talking, no lights on and no nappy change unless they've done a poo, also I co sleep, not for everyone, but I function better with sleep, we have other children and my d/h has a labour intensive job and needs his sleep so for us the less fuss at night the better, I have just started putting them into the cot for their first sleep at 8 pm then when they wake they come into our bed and stay for the rest of the night, one of them sleeps slightly longer than the other but it seems to be working well, this is the first time I've ever owned a cot, I'm not sure how we will get on in summer time with 4 sticky bodies in the bed but hey what's 1 more lol
    looking forward to updates

    Hello everyone
We got home safe. Very tired, clothes line full of washing and still washing, pressies lined up on the dining room table and about to do photos this afternoon.
Headed to Drs yesterday and had blood test today. But test at Drs is still positive so all looking good so far. Have referral for obstetrician. He is not a specialist with IVF but I saw him just over 12 mths ago for a pre-pregnancy consult to discuss the medications I was taking for bipolar to make sure my psychiatrist was on the right path with what could and couldn't stay. I liked him much more than the IVF specialist I saw here so decided to go with him.
Came home to some sad and happy news. Our next door neighbours, who keep an eye on things while we are away, had their baby on 14th. Little girl called Tulip.Sadly though Tulip only got about a week with her Dad who passed away at 51 of a suspected heart attack. Very sad.
Anglie you got to try the new Qantas food. We flew Finnair and the sector from Singapore to Aus was run by Qantas, but not on the new menu yet. I was reading about it, it looked good. Not sure I would go Finnair again,. I found their service very poor. When you fly long haul you expect water to be provided constantly due to risk of dehydration, not with Finnair.
Can't wait to hear your test result Anglie.

@ Stacey, thats true about depenidng on babies, they all are diffrenet and some are easier to settle, most of our frind got kids around the same agae (1, 1.5 year olds) and i can see and they all have diffrent personalities Hope to get to transfer 2 embryos and have twins... counting down, 1.5 months to go and getting my injection in 2 weeks , very excited
@Debant, congras on the positive test, keep us updated, as for obstetrician, i would also go to some one diffrent than the current IVF specialist. the specialist at the moment is all right and he has a lot of knowledge but i never really feel comfortable with him and i kid of feel like he is in a rush most of the time and i don;t get to ask all my questions and he didn;t even pick up my infection post LEEP
so i have already selected an obstetrician to see if i return pregnant, who is also not IVF specialist but i guess it won't matter as our medication and peogram is all sorted by Zlin so it should be ok! would be keen to know if others also went through an obstetrician rather than IVF specialist??

Anglie, looking forward to hear your news

Amfm I didn't go through anyone, I got back and went straight to my gp, they can order and do all the tests you need, then He just sent a referral to our hospital and I just booked in with the hospital and that was that Unless you have private health insurance and plan on going private you really dont need an obstetrician

Thanx Stacey , did you give birth naturally or C section ? I'm thinking of going through private only because I know I won't be giving birth naturally and that's the only way I can choose birth method,

    Hi ladies

congrats debant, now the countdown is on for your first ultrasound. How are you feeling.

Not long now amfn it's exciting for you.

Well I have some good news I did a pregnancy test last night 2 days before they recommended and it came back positive. I'm really excited. I retested this morning and it was a stronger line. Tomorrow I go do my blood test. I am feeling pregnant tired. Slight morning sickness. Still can't believe it. I'm so glad to have this forum to share my experiences. I will let you all know my hcg levels and maybe Stacy you can shed some insight on twin hcg levels!! I have a gut feeling, a women's intuition that I'm going to have twins. I know it sounds crazy but as long as the baby babies are healthy I feel blessed. Whatever god plans.

anyway have a good day can't wait for you to share your journey amfn with us.
