I had no idea our thread was a lifeline!

    Thank you Stacey!

Galea, Zlin was a very postiive experience - and it wasn't only my result. Not at all. For me it was everything. I am from Eastern Europe so it was very special to be in that part of the world. I really liked the clinic too. And the snow on the branches! I wish you the very best of luck, as I do for Feather. It might take grit, and it might take a few tries, but it's a worthwhile journey. The statistics bear that out. Hang in xxx

Everyone in our situation knows that a new perspective can help drag you out of the dark times. Top be presented with an option when we thought we had none is a huge relief for my husband and I. Working towards something helps....

Thanks. I am researching now. Hubby is excited

I think being open to options is a good deal of the battle won. Keep planning!

Crystal, so sorry to read that you had a chemical, I really feel for you
Tiggy, congratulations to you and your DH.
I do hope some ladies keep this thread going as the only way other women might be encouraged is by reading others experiences. I certainly know this is why/how I chose South Africa for my upcoming DE cycle.
    All the best

I certainly hope we can keep this thread going. It's a bit hard for me to post regularly now I'm back at work and raising 6 month old twins!
Hopefully those people who read the thread but don't post can start posting a bit maybe with questions etc! This at least would give us something to talk about!

Did anyone else watch the 60 Minutes story tonight on Mary Koustas (SP?) or Effy the comedian? It was about her struggle to have children and eventually going to see a specialist in Greece. When they said this we had a gut feeling that she'd used an egg donor. It made me think, surely if I'm thinking that then others are too?!
What do you think about it? I'm wondering if she's just sold the story to try and recoup what she would have spent on her over 6 attempts in Greece.
If they'd decided to not tell about the ED then I'm not sure about going so public as people will figure it out.
Also from another angle perhaps she wanted to share her story to give other people hope.
    What do you ladies think?
    Who would you tell?

Hi ladies. Long time stalker first time poster ( on this thread anyways ) I watched it too. They didn't mention egg donor in this instalment, but they did in the first one that aired last year. (You can watch it on the 60 minutes website). They def said egg donor then. Wonder why they didn't now? I agree, prob trying to recoup her 20! ivf attempts.

    Hi,
They did mention it briefly in this update, but more so in the earlier story. Alice she has written a book about it called All That I Know, the first 60 mins story was around the release date of the book. She had so much public support after the book/tv ep. The last 60 mins ep. ended with her announcing her pregnancy - I'm sure it was to recoup some costs, but I also think her heart is in the right place and that the book was a cathartic experience for her.

Girls - you should keep this thread going if you can, or those that are reading and going over there soon may keep it going.

So so sorry Crystal... I know what it's like. Nobody can say anything to make you feel better, it takes time.

Congratulations Tiggy !! Super dooper news !!

Kheeki how did you go? I understand if you are not popping in here any more or have moved on - I know that happens, I had a break too, it was painful for me.
