Santa stopped here Hope he made it to your houses as well!!

Sooty, you sound very cheerful!! 2014 is going to be our year my friend

Tiggy, I am ok with the injection, much better then last time. I am getting hot flushes and don't have a lot of energy. The bleeding was heavy but has slowed and is now light but still there. I do find my mood dips a bit though, I'm not sad or moody but DH said I'm a quieter version of myself. Hope your little guy had a great Christmas

Alice, very exciting Christmas for you!!! Hope the babies first Christmas was amazing!! DD was 6 months for her first Christmas and it was so much fun!!

Kheeki, hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!!! When do you start your cycle?

Hi everyone else, hope all is well

Quick post to update - specialist called on Xmas Eve and said there is nothing sinister going on. CA125 levels have dropped from high 400's to just under 200 - still very high (must have been related to those ED meds to a certain extent after all), but after the MRI, he doesn't think it is anything to worry about and no need for a laparoscopy. He's going to run the results past a couple of his colleagues to be sure, which is reassuring. A few things came up, but nothing that will stop us continuing on our ED journey. So, good news prior to Xmas.

Hope you all had a wonderful Boxing Day

Sooty so happy all is fine with you !!!!! Now you can move on to your next cycle and get things moving again

Yesterday is the first day I've felt good since having the Prostap injection. I was soooo tired, headachey, my joints ached and I felt like I had the flu. Thankfully I'm mostly just tired now

I start estrogen, steroids and Clexane on Tuesday so I know I'll have my energy back after that !! I emailed Eva on Monday but I haven't gotten a reply so I assume they're out for this week.

DH wants to pay for the cycle before we go, we did this before we went to Cape Town. I think he prefers to deal with the bank or credit card from here if there's any issues then try to do it from there. Did anyone else pay in advance, does the clinic even do this?

We had a pretty quiet New Years Eve , we took DD to the airport at 9 and then came home and watched a movie. We're taking DS to see the Hobbit today so that should be fun Hopefully I can stay awake..HAHA

Hope everyone had a great New Year!!!!

    Hi Crystal

Even though I was sorry to hear you have felt a bit off since the Prostap, it actually helped me heaps and heaps, because I have felt the same, and haven't quite known where to put it. I too have felt a weird feeling in my head, sort of headachey, yes, and tired and mildly flu-ey. I have been beating myself up a bit thinking 'Oh you think you're tired now, how are you going to feel getting up through the night etc etc' and haven't given myself a break. So it was kind of reassuring to read your post. I think my whole day will feel better just knowing this is normal. Big hand squeeze from me. Not long now...

Sooty may, soooo glad you can move forward now xxx

    Happy New Year to everyone.

Just a quick pop in the wish everyone a bleated merry christmas and happy new year Good luck to those of you going within the next few week, exciting stuff
Crystal, I paid in advance and just did the transfer through travelex, very easy and the clinic is absolutely fine with you doing that, also saves the hassle on the day as well

    xxx

Hi girls - Happy New Year to you all, lets hope 2014 is the year for all of us

...Your time is approaching !!!!!! how exciting, I can't believe its nearly here for you now, I remember thinking in November that it seemed so far away!! Good luck to you all. I know what it feels like to go to a new country and on top of it, do this amazing thing we are all doing. Its quite a journey

Guess what?! I hadnt really been looking as I wasnt quite in the mood/right frame of mind for it and had just started to have a little look around over the past day or so.... and just found a donor yesterday - New Years Eve, and she has accepted !!! I can't quite believe that I've found someone that I like that fits our criteria (almost 100%)! and so quickly (thank goodness)..... she has had 3 successful donations, the last twins!!!!!!! I'm soooo hoping we with be the 4th.

Tiggy, this is the roughest part, I'm still spotting as well which is not fun!! I felt great when I started estrogen so it's only hanging in there until Tuesday. Don't beat yourself up about not feeling well, this for me is always the hardest part.

Sooty, yaaaahhhhh!!!!!!! Sometimes, the right donor just falls into place very excited you found a new donor, which agency did you go with? I will email you over the weekend I know you have your apt with Karen coming up

Stacey, thanks for that!! I will definately pay before we leave so we are stress free
