    Hi Ladies,

Kheeki, keep a close eye on Zuji for cheap airfare and if you see a great deal don't wait because it won't last long. I did the same when we went to SA and got a decent deal As for the job, DH switched from full time to contract work quite awhile ago, you won't get holiday pay or sick days but the pay is usually quite a bit better. We just have savings for sick days or holiday time. One of the good things about contract work is you can book time off and there's no drama. He takes the train into Melbourne everyday but he does say its really crowded at peak times.

The only thing that could possibly have messed with his swimmers is his anti anxiety med Effexor but he's on a low dose and he's been on it for about 7 years and no problems so I'm not sure but I'm curious to find out how he gets on with this next sample. Hopefully he can get away from work on Monday so we can get it done

Tiggy, how are things today? I agree about the donor its a shame their totally anonymous but I think I'll make it clear from the start that finding the donor isn't an option and explain it as Alice did in her post. It is one cell that has potential to become a baby. Also someone maybe it was DH but someone also mentioned that without his swimmers and my body there would be no baby. At least not the same baby that would be in our family.

Sooty, I really really hope someone got back to you yesterday!! and so glad you got the phone!!!! So exciting

Alice, I think your worded that so well, I agree with everything you typed!!

I didn't even think to ask for a donor that is proven, I may email and ask Eva to add that to the list. I tried to keep the list simple but that didn't even cross my mind

Airfares - try Skyscanner too - I'd never heard of them, my Sister uses them a lot and they are really good - she's a real bargain hunter (ie recently got flights to Thailand return for just over $600!!!!
We use Zuji a lot too... this time the bargain flights to SA $1736 return each (Singapore Airlines & pretty much direct) were on Skyscanner - you can sign up for alerts too.
I have an appointment booked for late afternoon tomorrow with Dr M.

Along with that email was a request to pay $150 into their account today. I'm happy to and have done so promptly, but can I ask is that normal to pay again now for any further phone conversations with him?

    Roll on tomorrow afternoon

Sooty, That is fantastic news!! Yeah every phone call will cost $150 and it has to be paid before the consult. So exciting hey? I knew she'd get you in, she just causes so much stress in the process

Good luck and let us know how you get on

Sooty, I think any phone consult with Dr.M will be $150, as for the blood forms I believe they are organized free of charge but if you need a phone consult to go over results etc again it will $150. It is a shame it isn't tax deductable because an appointment is an appointment.

Kheeki, is 3100 for 2 tickets? I haven't flown Malaysian Air but its meant to be a great Airline, we flew Singapore Airlines to Cape Town and they were amazing.

Just remembered I have flown Malaysian Air myself! Idiot! I flew them to London via KL which is exactly this same flight. Then British to Prague. I didn't want to do 2 stops but to save some money I would. Yep the $3180 is 2 return flights.

Crystal and Sooty I feel for you with the extra expenses you've got to manage. But soooo worth it in the end.

Tiggy - I hear you. This thread moves with lightening speed driven by our excitement. Spurred on by our leader Alice!!

So, I went to the GP tonight and he can't prescribe me the meds. He said it needs to be a specialist. He's very supportive though. Is everyone else getting prescriptions from their FS?

Holy Moley that price is awesome!!!! The best I've ever got it is $3900. sometimes I find it funny that flights with more stops can be cheaper considering that every time your plane lands and takes off you pay airport taxes. Heathrow taxes are very expensive!

I'm imagining my face on a flag, it's not pretty! Well at least not at the moment, my hormones have been going all kinds of crazy over the last few weeks and my skin is dry one day, super oily the next and now I'm all spotty like a 13 year old! Apparently it's normal but that doesn't make me feel any better about myself!

I will be in Melbourne just before Christmas, perhaps we could all meet for a coffee. We should start an Aussie Zlin DE Support Group. It's nice having people to talk to about your DE experience as generally most people don't tell anyone outside of their immediate family.

I'm glad you're all well. It's October, can you believe it! Not long to go!

Alice really funny you should say that because I thought the same thing this morning. Kheeki, where are you? Crystal, you are in Melb right, and Sooty May...it could be good for us to have the support. Alice where are you?

By the way, I found pregnancy/early parenting hormones affected my skin too. But to your DE crew you will always be beautiful. xxx
