    Default Party in the park-food!

This year I am venturing out to a local park to do a party, first time in 7 years!I'm kinda nervous about taking everything,as I have always done parties at home.I am after some food ideas, bearing in mind I cant do hot food, and need to keep stuff cool. Also any party games that work well from a wide age group 2-8 yrs. Thanks!

You can do some pastry dishes that require cooking before the party but can be eaten cold:
    - mini quiche
    - pizza scrolls
    - pigs in blankets (cocktail frank wrapped in puff pastry)
    - dips served with toasted Turkish bread (cut bread into thick finger pieces and lightly coat with olive oil, put in oven for 5-10 mins until just crunchy.
    - strawberries dipped in chocolate and thick chunks of watermelon on paddle pop sticks (always a favourite at my dd'd parties - anything on a stick and the kids love it!)

Then you can add some of the basics like potato chips, twisties, Lollies - things that don't require any prep.
