I don't burn things :P
well we dont cook chops however no in general I dont... only because I am way fussier with my meat than DH however that being said I usually dont eat a whole meat portion to myself so he gets some of the good one as well
If it is just in general then yes I feed DD and then DH before me (portion wise) so if we were running low for some reason then i would be the one to miss out.
Also when i do the shopping etc. I find myself buying things that DH will like and then coming home and going oh I got all these things DH likes but no 'treats/snacks' for me.
Oh and when DH cooks he does the same as me - give DD and myself the better cooked one and has the bad one himself
I serve out all the best bits to everyone else and I take what's left. I think it's because I don't want anyone to think I am a worse cook than I actually am.
I have a secret chocolate stash though and nobody knows about that
My worst one is a split egg yolk. I LOVE runny egg yolk so if I split one while cooking, I either give it to DH or give it to myself, then sigh at it so he offers to swap
depends on my mood and how ****ed off i am with him that day. he wouldn't give me the best bit.
This happened a LOT in my family growing up. Dad always got the biggest, best, last whatever it was that was going.....and he got it first.
It's an attitude that i now quite resent.
Dh always gives me the best bits, and I always give me the best bits unless I am not particularly bothered/hungry that day.
But, to be fair, I am a lot fussier than dh is when it comes to quality of food.
I've never had a chop.
But I'll give DH & the kids the nicer steak or whatever it may be. Cook gets the rejects in this house. When DH makes brekky he always takes the overcooked soft boiled egg.
if its a burnt chop then it was cooked on the bbq and therefore HIS fault!
I don't eat lamb but when it comes to steak ect, i purposely burn mine so I give dp the best cut as mine ends up unrecognisable and it would be a waste to burn the best cut.
