I buy the gnocchi fresh in the cold section. It tastes great and cooks in a few mins.

I also add whatever veggies I have to use up (peas, yellow squash, zucchini etc). You can hide anything in it.
Im going to try thi for something different. Ive never had gnocchi before. Never!! Tomato and pinenut pesto.... is that just from the supermarket?

Kids usually eat what we eat, but on Friday we have naughty take away and I make something quick for the kids. Tonight it's spaghetti with frozen spinach and broccoli, cheese and cream. Super quick & easy. Was cooked by the time they finished half a pear each

Yum some of the stuff in here looks amazing. I'll have to add a pic after dinner tonight. To answer the eating question Sunday-Thursday we all eat together at the table at about 5pm it's just easier to eat together then get them bathed and everything and in bed by 7. On Friday and Saturday night we're a bit more relaxed so eat whenever tonight will be closer to 6. We didn't always eat at 5 we started at about 7 and gradually got earlier as the kids got hungry and it was just easier to do it that way. I'd never make 2 meals and I wouldn't want to have to heat mine up afterwards

Chicken meatballs (chicken mince, grated carrot/zucchini/mushroom, egg) with a tomato & veg sauce (pasata, peas, chopped capsicum, chopped green beans and fresh tomatoes that I needed to use up).

DD loves it and its a great freezer meal.
