    Default Gestational Diabetes Test

Just wondering if feeling really terrible during the 1 hour GD test is any indication of having GD?

I had the 1 hour test yesterday and felt fine but about 40mins after the drink I felt like a coldness went through my whole body, my hands were really pale and I felt close to fainting. When I got home I threw up and just wanted to sleep. I know I need to wait for the actual results but has anyone felt this way during the test? What was your outcome?

I felt horrible after the test...sick to my stomach. That drink is so vile. I felt so awful that I didn't do the test with my second baby.

(oh and didn't have GD by the way).

Yep, I felt horrific after the GD test with DS1, I nearly fainted on my way home. I didn't have GD, and like Witwicky, I decided against the GCT/GTT for my second preg.

Yep I felt awful after drinking that vile drink. Ended up throwing it up & then had a massive dizzy spell in the waiting room. I ended up having to stay an additional hour waiting for the dizziness to stop.

Am wanting to refuse the test for this bub but am getting harassed into having it done by the ob, physician & pain specialist arghhh! Seeing as I still have morning sickness and vomit multiple times before 11am I'm guessing the drink will come up the moment it goes down and they wont be able to test anyway.
