    Default Metformin and Clomid

Hello all I'm 24 I been dealing with fertility issues as long as I can remember..anyways me and my boyfriend been ttc for about 2 years now and no luck..I have abnormal cycles and some facial hair under chin. Doctor told me it was due to that I don't ovulate anyways just about 2 weeks ago I had a surgery call hysteroscopy d& c where they go in and scrape the uterus due to overgrowth built up and causing abnormal bleedings and now he put me on metformin and clomiphene I'm on cd3 today and start my clomiphene I'm hoping for a successful round just wanted to hear more from other women!

    Hi there,

I know there is a number of women on this site who had success with clomid. I unfortunately had to move onto injections after two years of clomid and metformin.

Anyway that wasn't the point of my reply. I wish you the best of luck and i hope your ttc journey with your fs is a short one.

There is a lot of support in the ttc threads here with many women in the same situation.

I got my sticky bub after 1 injection cycle with close monitoring.

I am now almost 13 weeks pregnant. We were ttc for over two years with fertility treatment.

Don't lose hope, there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.

I thought maybe thats what the metformin was for I'm dieting now but they say I'm really not overweight I just cut out all sodas and nothing but water and white meat no red meat

I found going to a dietician helped me.... Carbs are not your friend when you have pcos and knowing what foods to cut out made it easier
