Yay for the new bike and a nice long walk too!

Ended up at the gym this arvo and did a 20minute run on the treadmill so managed to burn off another heap of calories.
Didn't have my lunchtime shake but had an omelette instead so around the same calories an a good dose of protein. Healthy dinner and snacks again. Think I'm getting the hang of this finally lol.

    Nice work guys

Beebs we have a similar goal.

    Starting weight (26/8) - 74.7
    Last weigh in (26/9) - 75.2
    Today. (5/10) - 74.0

    Goal weight - 55kg

My starting weight was the day I started at the gym. My body fat % had gone down at the second weigh in but I had gained muscle mass so the scales went up. I've since focused more on the cardio than the weights as I want the weight gone first and foremost.

I almost fell over when I got weighed at a medical appointment recently and realised that I was 72.4kg. I have been heavier in the past 82 kg - and then I got ill and lost almost 17 kg. I was thin as anything, and felt so good. I vowed I would never go back to that place. But of course I did. So it is good that we are all doing it together - I feel inspired!

Totally get you. This is the heaviest I've ever been. I've battled eating disorders and am finding it hard to cope with the weight gain from quitting smoking but don't want to go back to unhealthy methods of losing the weight so I'm happy to see some movement. It's motivation me to keep on the right path and I love checking in here to see how everyone is going

    Hello

I am starting my journey of weight loss so thought that I would join in.

    starting weight: 66kg
    goal weight: 56 kg
    height: 165 cm
Shakes brand: healthy mummy but I think I might change to mothers mix as all of the blending and washing of the blender is a major PITA

I sort of started last week to give the shakes a bit of a go and was surprised how much better I felt eating healthy food. I have already cut back heaps on the coffee and diet soft drinks ( was drinking 1.5 litres of coke zero a day)!!! I haven't started exercising yet but will be started today doing the healthy mummy exercises with a 30 minute daily walk.

reading this thread has really inspired me so Thankyou

    Nice work bellavista!

    Welcome giggle

73.9 on the scales this morning! Stoked to be under the 74 even if it's only by 100grams lol.

I've spent most of day in the garden and apparently burnt almost 900 calories might not need to gym today lol. I've got a heart rate monitor watch that tells me the calories I burn and I'm finding it quote interesting. If anyone likes roller skating, I went last night and burnt 775 calories in the 2hrs we were there that's my kind if exercise!

Sitting here eating a big bowl of salad, then will have my shake and head back out to the garden. Got a BBQ tonight, hopefully I can control myself although I know a friend if bringing her awesome cheesecake :/

Where did you get the heart rate monitor? What is it called. We just went for a picnic and a walk and I would love to know how may calories it burnt. I hate exercising, so if I kind of trick myself into doing it it doesn't seem so bad!
