I used 5 First Response tests and got 4 false positives from them. Also a false positive from a clear blue. Doctors blood test showed up negative.

Looks real to me! Can you afford to get a digital test? They'll give you a clear pregnant or not pregnant. Although I'm not sure how many dpo you need to be before you can take a digital.

I had the same experience from FR (didn't use clear blue)
I had a blood test the same day which was negative.
So it wasn't a missed misscarage either.
I had some FR left over and ran it under water, it too came up with a faint pink second line.
I contacted the company over a year ago now when this happened, they told me they were aware of the issues and rectifying the problem.
Seen a few threads on here lately about false positives on FR... I would have though they would have "rectified" the issues by now

It's ridiculous!!! The amount of stress it caused me was huge. Thankfully (in my case) it was negative - but I had a lot of sleepless nights and worry thinking I was up the duff until my blood tests came back.

I was stressing until my blood tests too, I have the mirena in place so pregnancy was not something I was planing on, then I had the stress of pregnancy with an IUD, ectopic etc.
in my case I was happy it ended up being a false positive.
But I feel so bad for all the women TTC and getting the wrong results
