Big c ongrats to SoReady for her great news! Had my fourth injection of Puregon last night and I inserted the needle and got hubby to dial (I had done the others by myself & thought he might want to be involved?) when we took the needle out some of the Puregon came out and some blood, would I have lost to much of the medication? Do you think this would be a problem? Thank for any help ladies!
We had the same thing happen at the start - no blood but some fluid that was there. The FN said it was okay though and can happen.

We have figured out the way to avoid it is to inject it really slowly and to leave the needle in for about 10 seconds afterwards then take it out slowly.

    Try not to stress though!

Omg Frances I hope you are ok. It sounds a lot like what I was experiencing when I had OHSS but I didn't transfer after EPU because of it. They say OHSS can be worse if you transfer because of the pregnancy hormone in your system. How many follies did you have, how many eggs did you get and do you remember your estrogen levels? All that plays a big part. You poor thing, you just having been able to cut a break! Thinking of you hun, hope they sort the problem out and you feel better real soon. Please keep us updated xx Mrsfurbabies I wouldn't stress about that too much, it happens a fair bit to me and as you can see from my last few posts my ovaries are working overtime lol! GL with your cycle hope you get lots of beautiful eggies Good Luck for EPU Bellayou get lots of eggs that fertilize nicely for you. Hope everyone else is travelling along well.

Thank you wonderful ladies of Bub Hub. Yep the doctors think its OHSS ?? Which is odd to be getting now. EPU was on 17 th, and I'm now 7 days past 5 day transfer. But did POAS this morning super light positive. So I don't really think I could be, even though I've had similar symptoms as others times.

He said high temp and ovaries very swollen. I got ten eggs 15 follicles. I only know my E2 was around 4800. I had to stimm for ages too., but they said my estrogen did not drop.

Anyone think I could be in with a chance for a positive beta on Friday ? I thought HPT would, picked this up by now.

    Xxxxxxx

Hi frances, I hope you're feeling better soon. for your Bt on Friday, don't give up, you never know, especially if you've got a faint line. Of all the success stories I've heard on BH, it's always the ones that have OHSS after EPU/ET that get that BFP.

MrsFurBabies, I remember calling the clinic in a panic on my first cycle as I had some clear fluid come out with the needle - I felt a bit silly when they told me it's just water from your body. They said we're made up of water and it's just that, not the medicine coming out. So truly do not worry about it.

Good luck today bellavista, hope you get lots of mature eggs.

AFM - AF arrived a couple of days early so I've got a call in to the clinic to see when I can go in to pick up my injections!

Well ladies we got the call just after 9am this morning. To say we were nervous was an understatement. As soon as I heard the happy voice of my nurse I knew we had some luck. Out of 15 mature eggs we have 5 that have fertilised nicely. They were all so happy for us. We are so relieved to have fertilisation but the number is still quite low considering the amount of eggs we had but that is quite common with surgically retrieved sperm. We will get an update on Thursday and hopefully transfer one on Saturday. Still very nervous and hoping they all grow into perfect little blasts.

rainbowbabe, I'm sure if this cycle gets cancelled or doesn't go exactly to plan the next cycle will be much better. Last cycle I only got 6 eggs and this cycle had 15 eggs just by the FS switching the meds. Just goes to show how different two cycles can go.

goodluck today Bella we are only 1 day apart in our cycle!

thinking of you Frances and everyone else having some obstacles. I'm sure we'll all be off this rollercoaster very soon.

Thanks ladies, i was a bit worried there, the previous nights I had turned the dial quite slowly, but my DH did push the dial quite quick, I was just worried I would lost too much medication. Trying not to worry!

Frances it sounds really odd for you to have OHSS with only 15 follies and 10 eggs especially if your estrogen levels were only 4800?? Our bodies really are strange things aren't they! A faint line is a line and you have to have hcg in your blood for any line at all right? Can you maybe ask the hospital to do a BT, I'm sure if you beg they might get better soon. Yay! Chiefsgirl you can get startedGL for your cycle. Rainbow congrats on your little embiesthey stay strong and you can have your transfer on Saturday, hope the TWW goes by quickly for you
