Hi ladiesI'm in desperate need of a comforting answer to a question Can anyone tell me is it just me or do any of you bloat (and I mean really bloat) after only 2-3 days of either gonal f or puregon?? I was on gonal f last cycle and on puregon this time and have had the same reaction, I swear I could pass for 4-5 months pregnant! And my moods change almost straight away too, up n down like a yo yo....I generally eat quite healthy and do at least 30 mins exercise a day, drink plenty of water but nothing seems to stop it...am I the only excessive bloater?

Oh JB2011 - and girls you make me laugh! I don't know what BD stands for either, but I'm getting the drift! It's been so long I'm not sure I remember how it works :-) Maybe that's our problem we've been doing it wrong all along All that pressure really ruined it for us - DH could come to the party but not ring the bell if you get me ... so I tried to take away the pressure, thought the IVf might do that for us, but somehow we've ended up in a drought... better get onto that. Stillfuntryin we are going to Athens because that's what our FS (Dr Lolatgis at Monash) recommended. He has a connection with a clinic there that is run by Dr Pantos who studied here then returned to Greece. Dr Pantos is a bit of a legend in Europe it seems and Greece also has quite a reputation as a good IVF / donor destination. Success rates are over 50% on first attempt. By three attempts the success rate is up around 80%. I like those odds! Unlike here there are lots of egg donors - partly because the process is completely anonymous. Its actually quite easy to arrange, can be 6 weeks from first contact to ET. But Greece also feels right for us ... DH and I were set up by two Greek women, DH is Greek, we got engaged in Greece, Dr Lolatgis is Greek ... my donor will be Greek ... maybe it's our time and our place

    Lol omgshoes!! That's too funny!

Both DF and I are way too preoccupied with the whole IVF stuff that we haven't even thought about bed stuff haha - not that it would result in a surprise BFP either lol.

We are on our way to a Sydney clinic who work with our Canberra one so that DF can have her BT an US. I'm quietly nervous that she hasn't been stimming as well as she should she doesn't seem bloated and only feels small twinges every so often. Fingers crossed there are follies growing!!

Thanks Lizzy! We just left the clinic and things seem to be going well. DF has been on Puregon since last Thursday so today was day 7 of taking it. There seemed to be a good number of follies. I not sure if I wrote all of them down but from what I was able to get there were 12 of them. I am only assuming there were more because she commented saying that DF has PCO (which we knew). Those 12 were measuring at 8,9,9,11,11,12,9,10,9,9,10 and 9mm approx - I rounded the numbers down but some were like 9.7mm for example.

So.... Now we wait until 2 to call our clinic for the official results and we go back on Friday for another US and BT.

I just hope everything is looking okay to the FS!! How is everyone else tracking.?
