Morning ladies, sorry I have been MIA for awhile... My brother and his 4 kids unexpectedly decided give us a nice surprise and came to visit on Thursday for a few days, making it an encredibly full house!

Welcome to the lucky thread to all the new ladies. Sorry you have had to join us, but all the best to you all for what ever stage you may be at.

Lannie - HUGE congrats! I am so excited for you on your BFP! Wishing you a much easier pregnancy than the journey it took to get there! Thanks for kick starting the string of BFP's.

Mini - congrats on being PUPO! That's great news too. When is your BT day? I can't wait to see your BFP too!

AFM - had my second scan yesterday. FS is expecting us to get about 20 eggs from my 25 + follies! Unfortunately I am at high risk for ohss, so we may have to do a freeze all cycle. I trigger tonight for 8.30 transfer on Monday and will just have to wait and see. I'm feeling ok considering - just a little tender and feeling a bit of pressure and mild nausea, but apparently once I trigger I might go downhill. Wish me luck! Though I know it wouldn't be the end of the world if I can't , I'd really like to transfer while I'm in the lucky thread! <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" smilieid="1" class="inlineimg"

Freakedout Thats some serious follicles!! OHSS is a serious concern please be careful! I had 28 follicles, but only 14 eggs and they were considering not doing an ET due to the high risk factor. They transfered anyway and I got severe OHSS and was hospitalised. If they havent told you already, begin drinking heaps of fluids, something like Hydralite will take away your nausea as well (did for me anyway)
Wishing you lots of luck, hoping you get to Transfer and dont over stim!

wow freakedout those are big numbers, I hope you can avoid OHSS.

I am on my first cycle and just had my second scan on day 9. Although they say I have 24 follicles I only have 1 that is 18mm. I have a few others that have grown but still not enough - 2x13, 1x11, 1x9, 1x8. Now they want me to stay on the meds over the weekend and check again on Monday. Can anyone with more experience advise on these numbers? They said they generally won't go ahead with EPU if there is less than 3 over 18mm?

soready Looks like you will get a good haul of eggs too! Generally they say follicles will grow a mm a day so by monday you wi have 2 x15, 1 x13, 1 x11, 1 x 10. The smaller the follicle the less likely there will be a mature egg contained or an egg at all.
For example I had 28 follicles, 17 large (over 13mm) and 11 small. From that I had 14 eggs collected (all of which were mature) And you are right they will not do an EPU unless there are at least 3 follicles larger than 18mm so they wont get many eggs and its a bit of a waste of time. Hope that helps.

Soready - what meds are you on? I can't really provide any info because DF is currently taking synarel and will be injecting Puregon from Tuesday (they think - pending blood test on Monday).

I'm not sure roughly how long she will be on the Puregon but going by the approx dates its 10 days and then the trigger. Does that mean you have another 3 days of stimming Soready?

Hopefully they will keep growing nice and big
