Default Friend asked me to pray about this man who has sought her out on the net

My friend, going through her 2nd divorce is on the look out for a new dh and is vunerable. A man has sought her out on fb and has told her he is an italian living in Dallas, is widowed and has two little children. He has proposed to her and doesnt her. She is flattered and has asked me to pray that he is the one, her next husband. She is 49 and already talking about marriage and having a baby with him. I didnt know what to say only "be careful". I love her spunk but wondering if I should be worried about her. She is just about to sign her divorce papers from husband no 2....(and he is also an American) and lost $30,000 during their marriage of six months(on and off). She made friends with him on fb a few days ago and already talking about marriage. Should I be worried about her?

I would be worried about her, your friend sounds like a naive idiot. Not much you can do though other than say "be careful that sounds dodgy."

If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Sounds like your friend is headed for disaster.

Massive alarm bells! I got a similar message a few months ago. I dunno how to copy and paste from my phone so here's a screen shot

I ignored it obviously and I really don't think it's smart for your friend to pursue this... Very sad that these people are preying on vulnerable women.
