    Default I don't think I'm smart anymore :(

I think my brain is fizzling away... I'm a sahm and I'm pregnant so hoping its just a phase.
I have conversations with people and not 2 hours later Ill ask them a question about something that was already discussed at length during the conversation. I just sent an email to my previous work because I misplaced my group certificate and could not remember what to call it so I wrote an email about 'tax return paperwork' DH thought it was amusing!
I routinely forget to do things and my finance paperwork which used to be very organized is now a total mess and I can't find anything!!
    I don't like being dumb!

Your brain will return eventually, promise! It's just gone on a little holiday. Helps keep you from examining this whole pregnancy thing too closely.

It's baby/mum brain! Me and a good friend had this conversation not long ago - you almost feel like your brain is turning to mush, because things that you used to remember are forgotten, even basic things!

I just put it down to a priority shift - my brain isn't 100% on being as super organised as it once was, I don't take in every little thing thats said, as I am used to being full time carer for my daughter, which usually means having to keep eyes and ears open to other noises, and constantly leaving half my hearing to her when someone else is talking - when they are older, you will regain yourself back! (Oh god I hope that's the case, I'm still waiting!)
