So do I busy, so do I.

It just smacks on the press lock down when the vietnam war was on, or any war for that matter. This isn't a war, these a civilians fleeing persecution. Where the hell is the empathy?

So they'll just pretend there are no more boats then claim they stopped them?

That is what I gathered, but didnt know if I was reading it wrong. Thanks

But this exactly, if we don't know how many boats, or anything at all about the boats. They could just be like "Trust us, we solved the boat people crisis" and no one would be able to prove otherwise. Very underhanded.

Return them home when its safe? so they must plan to bring about world peace so the refugees are "safe" to return home.

    Bang on!
If we don't see or read on the news about boats arriving we will think that it's not happening. OMG! The LNP have stopped the boats!! This is legislating for media bias.

Interesting head to head with Albanese and Turnball tonight on hack.

Apparently the internet filter is an opt out one, not mandatory - cant see a problem with that.

I'd suspect the idea of not broadcasting the boat arrivals is a strategy so that successes aren't advertised to people thinking of getting on a boat. Just my musings, I dont know, just getting my head around it
