Thanks for the reassurance ladies!! Great to see u made it to the 'safe' zone.

I have a cervix length scan on the weekend.. At 16w all is looking good so far. Next scan is at 19w

Did either of you suffer from a shortened cervix? That's my biggest fear at the moment. I'm currently at a pre-natal exercise class (we do light cardio, light weights, squats, etc) but starting to think I should stop??

    Driving my self crazy!! Haha.

    Hi Barca07!

I know this is an old thread, I was just wondering how your pregnancy went and if you delivered a healthy baby. I too was diagnosed with a UU a month ago and am looking for success stories. I am currently on famera, and waiting for the egg to grow on the right side since I don't have a left tube. I heard there were stories of the right tube picking up the left egg, but I don't know that I will be so lucky.

    Hello,

I don't think I'm the best person to ask....
My pregnancy ended in my Son Johnny being stillborn BUT I have been assured numerous times that it had absolutely NOTHING to do with my UU - it was an issue with his umbilical cord.

I only have a right tube but we do IVF because of male factor infertility (it's seems the world is against us!!). So we have never tried 'naturally' to fall pregnant.

Johnny was delivered at 24 weeks and at that point he was growing perfectly. His growth wasn't restricted.

    Hi @maj1286
I have a unicornuate uterus and have gone on to have a successful pregnancy.
My first pregnancy ended in stillbirth at 24 weeks unknown cause. My second pregnancy ended in early miscarriage at 6 weeks.
This was with my previous partner.
With my husband we tried for 3.5yrs and after 2 cycles of ivf (due to male infertility factor) we fell pregnant with our now 2.5yr old ds. I was put on progesterone pessisaries at 24 weeks right up to 36 weeks. I had him at 37 weeks due to pre eclampsia and he was 5pounds 14 ounces.
I only found out I had a unicornuate uterus when our fertility specialist did a laparoscopy to ensure all was well with me. I have my left tube only. But they found my right ovary up high on my right side and were able to retrieve eggs from it too.
Good luck on your journey and sending lots of baby dust you way x

Thanks Sethysmum. Johnny was born 14weeks ago today.

I see your angel was also born at 24 weeks. 👼🏼 what is her name?

I have just got a BFP yesterday. Not really sure how I'm feeling at the moment...but expecting this pregnancy to be filled with anxiety.

    @Sethysmum.
    Our stories sound very similar:
Both have UU and male facto infertility, and against all odds fell pregnant only to have Angel babies.

I'm just hoping my story has a happy ending, like yours ☺️

Congrats I have everything crossed for you @Barca07. My pregnancy with ds was full of anxiety. I did not breathe a sigh of relief until he came out crying. I didnt enjoy my pregnancy at all as I was so worried something would go wrong.
My angel babys name is Ella she would be 13yrs old this year. Thanks for asking ☺
If you ever need someone to talk to please pm me. I would love to talk.

@Barca07 Thank you for your reply! Famera is like clomid but its more gentle on the ovaries, Clomid was hyper-ovulating my ovaries. We've been married for 5 years, and have never used any protection. We decided to get serious 2 years ago. After one year of no success we reached out to a fertility specialist. I know I ovulated this cycle but from the ovary where I am missing the tube, so the specialist is doing his job, but still not sure if we should start considering IVF, I will be 30 in July and I don't want to keep waiting.

Oh and I just saw the other threads, I AM SO SO SORRY for your loss. I was going through the threads and saw that you were in a similar situation in 2015, so i figured to ask, I am so sorry. Are you handling it well? I had 2 miscarriages I understand loss. I am so sorry.
