Default Student midwife looking for pregnant women in Brisbane! :)

    Hello!

My name is Amanda and I am a first year student midwife at the University of Queensland. I am looking for pregnant women to partake in what we call 'Continuity of Care'.

Continuity of Care is where I followyou throughout your pregnancy. I will attend your antenatal appointments with you, be there during your labour and delivery and attend some postnatal appointments with you. Put simply, I am a support person for you throughout the duration of your pregnancy.

This is a great opportunity for a student midwife, such as myself, as I will learn valuable lessons/information which will assist me in becoming the best midwife I can be! Your participation is not only valuable to me, but provides you with added support!

One point I would like to stress, however, is that I do not replace your primary care provider.

Please email me if you are interested and would like any further information. I look forward to hearing from you and best wishes with your new additions!

    Amanda

    Hi Amanda
What timeframe are you looking at? I am only 4 weeks pregnant, due on June 2014. Is this too far away to be useful for you?
    Good luck with your studies!
