Default What are you like when you're sick?

I fall into an emotional black hole. Anyone else like this? What is it that causes such a crash?

The difference in me between sick & healthy is crazy. I just hate being sick and always worry. And then I hate not feeling like myself!

DH just soldiers on, sick or not, its incredible!

    Which one are you?

I tend to soldier on. If I stay in bed I know I'm in a bad way.

    I rarely get sick though.

My DH is the same, he'll work regardless and just keep going. I'll stay at home with a blanket and feel sorry for myself

It depends how sick I am. I soldier on as best I can, I don't have much choice as its just me and the kids.

Lately I tend to be pretty emotional when I'm sick/not right, like the other week after I had a tooth out I was in some decent pain for about 8 days afterwards, there was a few tears in this time. I have to keep on going though most of the time when I'm ill but if its gastro or a migraine (especially) I'm useless, all I can do with a migraine is sleep.

I soldier on at work and am an emotional wreck at home. I've been very sick this year and spent some time in hospital , that was the worst. I cried til they let me come home

Still go to work (I haven't had a sick day off in over a year) but really struggle to get things done at home though. I'm sick at the moment and there is a mountain of work that needs doing and still got to get ready for work tomorrow
