Default What have you learnt today??

I have learnt that there is an insect called a Panda Ant that isn't an ant at all but is a wingless wasp.

    So what have you learnt?

I had no idea I could have been making money off of my used pee sticks! Dammit. Someone should have told me sooner.

    Also, lol!

I know! On one hand, it's genius. I mean we normally throw those things out. But on the other hand SMH some people.

Yeah, true. Sigh. Still. 40 dollars to pee on a stick. Especially when I *just* found our I was UTD. I kept wanting to see those two lines. I could have made a mint.

That I'm voting for Starlight in the next election - very keen in the 'annual luxury benefit' epiphany she has just had.

I'll be adding that to the list of companies I boycott.

My cousin (who I haven't met - she moved overseas before I was born) has put together our family tree. It's still a work in progress but I know that so far we go back to Hungary and that it was my great grandfather who changed our surname... though by the looks of it, he didn't formally change it, just went by a different name (kept his first name only - changed middle and last) and then gave it to his kids.

I am curious to find out WHY... but he died when I was 3, and his wife died a few years ago... I knew it wasn't our original family surname but I thought it got changed further back.

Oh - and I found out he was born in Hungary further back they were in Switzerland. I'd been told that we were Dutch and French... but maybe not!
