    In a pasta bowl....they are wider and flat like plates but have higher edges but not as high as a normal bowl

    Plate. Only thing I serve in a bowl is rice and soup, everything else goes on a plate.

    Omg the word bowl looks so weird after reading it so many times!!

    We use the half plate half bowl style bowl as well.

    Definitely a bowl!!! No other way for me. I love my pasta sauce so it really is a necessity.

    We use a bowl, my folks have always used plates and they think we are weird to use a bowl.
