Default Keepsake gift for best friends newborn girl

My best friend is due to have a baby girl in about 2 weeks, when my daughter was born she got her a silver bracelet with her name engraved on it, so I'd like to get a similar keepsake style gift. I'll spend about $40-50. I was given 2 baby books so i'll give her the unopened one but I'll obviously get her a 'real' present too. Any suggestions?

Are you any good at cross stitch? A friend did a lovely one with a rocking horse and name on it for my DS1

Could you get her the same bracelet but with her daughter's name on it?

How about a coin for the year bub was born. My FIL bought both my kids the 'year' coin for their birth. They also have some for their birthdays.

Perhaps a coin and a card in a frame??

How about a birth certificate cylinder with bub's name engraved on it?

I like the idea of the same braclet. I think that is sweet. Similar to little best friends having the same necklace or this half best friend charms from high school haha!

Aww Tadpoles that is perfect, because we often joke that they better be best friends like their mums "or else"! Great idea, thank you!

    No worries

How cute will it be when they are older and hopefully still friends. They can say they both got the same one when they were born
