Can so relate to this one. Since I learnt to drive the car he's barely left the house. And to top it off he's in the worst mood today.

6 months ago we went on holidays for over a week and came home to discover our power had flipped off. Our fridge/freezer had completely defrosted as had our chest freezer in the garage. I cleaned the kitchen fridge and DH cleaned the garage one which we haven't used since. Today whilst I was in the garage I smelt something off. I opened the freezer thinking it might have needed a wipe. Nup, DH lied. He never cleaned it out. Six months worth of grossness was in there festering. I can't understand why he lied. Seriously if I knew he wasn't going to do it I would have done it myself before it became the portal to hell that it is today.

I did make him clean it. I stood there and watched to make sure he actually did because clearly he is a 12 year old not a 32 year old. He's now whinging that he can't get the smell off his hands.

Apparently he cleaned out half of it, ran out of room in the wheelie bin for the rest of it and then forgot to finish it. Forgot for 6 months. Even though the freezer sits right next to his car that he gets in to drive to work each morning. No wonder he was dodgy the other week when I said I was going to turn the chest freezer back on so as I could start using it again for cooking bulk meals for when bub is born.
