(if you can) make them run! It's physically impossible for puppies to run and not go to the toilet! If you don't want to run, just stir them up! Make them jump, play, get all excited and it'll just come out, then make sure you get just as excited when they piddle/poop.
You may still look a little silly, but at least you'll look like a weirdo having fun with a puppy, not a weirdo just staring at a puppy ;p

Wedding to attend today in Austria and it's a bit nippy! (I know, first world problems).
Hope we're not rained on; thunderstorm scheduled for the ceremony!

Gah I find it really annoying trying to get those plastic bags open in the fruit and veg section!! I stand there for ages trying to pry the flipping plastic apart while DS is meanwhile grabbing random fruit and veg and throwing it in the basket!

Why did I offer to babysit 4 extra kids? Now DS2 is still awake 2 hrs after his bedtime, their beds keep squeaking and they have only JUST stopped annoying each other. Oh and one is on the lounge which means no watching movies for me while I wait.

That my Aunty could use a night off. She's been a single mum for ages and got engaged recently (but they don't live together yet) she deserves a break. Thankfully they are all asleep including DS2 now so I'm just going to read/bubhub for the next 2 hrs.

    My vent:

Everyone around me is getting married. They're often younger than me and have been in relationships for a shorter time than me.

Hell, even one of my friends is getting married - and being gay and having an American partner has meant that his journey to marriage has no doubt come with more hurdles than mine... and he's STILL getting married before me.

    I'm feel terribly unmarriagable.
