I sat down after putting DS to bed, only to realise that the remote control is on the bookshelf (ie out of his reach) and the TV is on ABC4Kids.

I made myself toast and then remembered I could have reheated the Chinese for my lunch. Then DS2 wanted a feed so DS1 ate my toast.

Same thing happened to me- being "diagnosed" with scabies when I knew damn well it wasn't!

Is that just an easy way out for dr's?

There is a rash that looks a lot like scabies that is an indicator of coeliac disease.

    http://celiacdisease.about.com/od/wh...atitisHerp.htm

Both myself and my DD had this rash, and the only way we could get rid of it was dropping gluten after we were diagnosed. My poor DD had it for 3 years on her bottom! We even went to paediatric dermatologists etc and no one could help her. Yet, 2 weeks off gluten, you couldn't even see where it was.

Just something to bear in mind because a lot of doctors are really clueless about this stuff sadly.

Sick of people having inappropriate themes for parties - since when does a bridal shower afternoon tea at someone's house have a "cocktail" dress code?!

Ouch. I have a small hole in my nipple from dd who bit me with her canine when I was feeding her. Its small but its sending pain throughout my whole boob
Seems petty to whinge about it cos ive had bigger holes in my nipples from her but it hurts. Haha.
