Hi everyone! It's a bit late in the month but I feel I need to join to keep me from testing too early and being disappointed!!!! I'm on CD26 today but not sure when my ovulation day was... how does everyone set their testing date?

You're meant to ovulate 14 days prior to your period counting backwards regardless of your cycle length. I also believe that the earliest you can get a positive (albeit a faint one) is around 10-12 days post ovulation.
Lol do it, do it!
Well I'm due for AF tomorrow so think I'll test in the morning. Have had subtle cramps on and off for the past week, don't really know what to think of them. It's our first cycle and was just using FF to guess when I ovulated so I'll be hugely surprised if I manage to get a BFP! Sending lots of baby vibes to all you ladies
That's a bit trickier when your cycle is so variable isn't it? I guess you would need an ovulation predictor test to help you then. I have a longer cycle averaging 32 days but fell pregnant this time by accident while on the pill after DTD about 10 days into my cycle. Which to me suggests that the sperm had to be waiting for the egg for some days before It was released, I couldn't believe it. It was one time!
